Teacher training that meets the standards of the Yoga Alliance RYT -200 *

This intensive training is unique in the Netherlands. It gives a deeper understanding of Ashtanga Yoga as it is practiced in the traditional manner. There is a strong emphasis on personal practice as an inner compass from which to develop your teaching skills.
This program was started in 2008 by two dedicated Ashtanga practitioners : Janneke Verburg-Wiersma and Claudia Pradella . Since then we have offered this intensive training yearly to a new group of students, to help them spread the practice of Ashtanga Yoga in the Netherlands and Belgium.
We work in small groups (maximum 18 people) personally and directly guided by two experienced and well-trained yoga teachers : Claudia Pradella and Francis Graafeijland . Various specialist guest teachers are used to guarantee the highest quality in all aspects of the training.
The Yoga Studio is a Yoga Alliance registered yoga school ( RYS # 39132 ) . The Ashtanga Yoga Intensive Training is approved by Yoga Alliance on the the RYS 200 level . That means you can submit to Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga Teacher ( RYT -200 ) *. This registration is an internationally recognized quality label for yoga teachers .

This training is aimed to support authentic Ashtanga Yoga practitioners to develop a thorough understanding of all aspects of this practice initiated from their personal experience. The training also provides the needed tools to effectively be able to contribute this knowledge to others. In the mentoring program you will be personally and closely guided by Claudia and Francis in both the deepening of your own practice as in your development as a yoga teacher.

The training will be partially taught in English and partially in Dutch. You won't have to speak Dutch, but to understand written and spoken Dutch is vital to be able to participate.
