Love Generation Eco Shiatsumat Futon - Traditional Massage Mat

Information

This traditional Japanese massage mat is made of heavy quality unbleached Eko -cotton / canvas. This thick soft futon is great for Yin Yoga, quiet Hatha Yoga and for Shiatsu or Thai Yoga massage.

The futon is filled with the fluffy seeds of the cotton plant . These are incorporated into soft layers, which are put layer upon layer at right angles . This gives a resilient padding . The outer cover is folded over, sewn and studded, so that the filling stays in place. The mat can be easily rolled. At both ends of the cover a sturdy zipper zips up the mat into a roll. The strong broadening straps help you carry the mat around or store it conveniently.

Please note: this is a shiatsumat and therefore no regular yoga mat. It can be used as a yoga mat, especially for quiet and slow forms of yoga, but this mat is a lot bigger and thicker than our other yoga mats. Rolled it has a diameter of 35 cm.

Use and Care

The cover is removable and machine washable at 40 degrees. The mat itself should be regularly shaken / whipped and aired in direct sunlight. Please make sure the mat itself is never exposed to moisture.
