Use and Care

Because this Love Generation eco yoga mat is biodegradable, you have to handle it differently than with a PVC yoga mat:

• Cleaning can be done with lukewarm water, but the yoga mat cannot be washed in the washing machine.
• Clean with a damp clothwith some vinegar or tea tree oil dissolved in water.
• To dry, roll up the yoga mat tightly in a large towel. Press out the excess water well and then hang your yoga mat for a few days. Allow to dry thoroughly before use but not in direct sunlight or near heating or other heat source. Heat can affect the mat and dry it out, causing the mat to break.
  
  
• Do not fold or store the mat with any dents. Despite the resilience, this can produce grooves.
• Do not leave it in the sun for too long and preferably do not let sunscreen or massage oil on it.
• The TPE yoga mat may give off a slight synthetic odor. The smell will disappear by itself, but we recommend letting the mat air out for a few days.
