About Joanna-Maria & Tamara
Both Joanna-Maria & Tamara have many years of experience and are trained extensively to guide people safely through deep processes.
Joanna-Maria is a certified Holistic Therapeut and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. She is trained in many different disciplines and, next to all her psychological and spirituals studies, Joanna-Maria started working intensively with different plant medicines and has sat with and learned from different maestros over the last years. Joanna-Maria has a deep passion for supporting people in their path towards their Soul Essence. She loves to create a safe space for people where they can move beyond their limiting believes and patterns. She uses her own experience of more than 20 years of personal and spiritual growth and her loving presence to help guide others where they need to go.
Tamara has studied plant medicine with a Mestizo Maestro and is currently studying under a Shipibo Maestro from Peru. She is the co-founder and manager of Mother’s House, where she supports research and conducts psychedelic ceremonies. Over the years, Tamara has witnessed many people heal their trauma with the help of psychedelics. She’s driven to enact a balance between therapeutic practices and indigenous shamanic teachings. For her, it’s not a job - it’s a calling and a way of life.

The retreat at Mother's House facilitated by Tamara and Joanna-Maria was a rich experience for me. Everything, from the venue, the team (including supporters Ed and Jop) over the timeframe, program and provided food to participants was a marvelous combination of beauty, honesty and love. I felt welcome from the very beginning, was touched by the powerful venue that emitted something magical to me. The team members in combination seemed playful, loving, caring, majestic, strong and capable - which for me was and is important to feel save and be able to surrender. The five-day program was structured in a way that allowed time to land, to rest and integrate in between the sessions. There were personal talks with Tamara and Joanna-Maria before the sessions which were important and helpful to me. Every experience is unique and therefore can't be compared (either for one or several beings). I experienced mine in a spectrum between messy and chaotic to insightful and healing. During the experience I felt supported when needed - even without asking for help (which is a thing to work on for me) it was offered when it felt needed! I write this testimonial about half a year after the retreat took place - the positive afterglow has long gone. The work and rollercoaster is ongoing but I still benefit from the learnings and inspirations I received during that time. After all I’m glad I took the chance to participate and I am immensely thankful and grateful to the whole team and myself for the work being done!

Everything there is 5 stars: the team, the place, the organization, the love, the music, the psylocibin, the ceremonies...the healing. The care that Tamara puts in her passion/work/dharma...is unbelievable. It's really touching the heart to see so much passion at the service of human beings that needs healing. I've been doing ceremonies regularly for 7 years now...but I've never seen and felt so much intensity and power at work within. Thank you again!

I attended the 5 day deep soul healing retreat and it was an amazing experience. This was my first psychedelic experience so I wasn't sure what to expect but Tamara, Joanna-Maria and the team gave amazing care and guidance throughout the whole process. Mother's house is a very special place and the food and facilities were first class. I will be back again sometime soon!
It was great surprise to see the place where the retreat would take place. It is such a good vibe and safe feeling to explore your inner world. The facilitators Joanna-Maria and Tamara showed deep experience in holding the space and also in leading the retreat. For me it was so profound to dive deeper into my fear, which I could never before do. So wow. Of course, integration took some time but I see my patterns in daily life. And memories bring inner smile almost daily. I feel deep gratitude for being able to touch other dimensions and realize that we are spiritual beings. Not mentally but truly experientially.
