Use & Maintenance

• Storage: Roll your Manduka PRO yoga mat with the top side facing out and the nubs facing inward. This keeps the corners of the mat flat while practicing.
• Breaking in: The surface texture of the PRO non-slip yoga mat improves with use. The best way to break in this yoga mat is to use it daily. To speed up this process even further, you can scrub your yoga mat with coarse sea salt and a sponge, then rinse thoroughly. Then, squeeze out the moisture by tightly rolling the mat in a towel. Then let the yoga mat air out and dry in the sun.
• Cleaning: You can clean your yoga mat with Manduka Mat Wash Spray or a mild household cleaner and a damp cloth or sponge. Then hang your yoga mat to dry thoroughly in the sun.
• Never clean your mat with a pressure washer or garden hose, and never leave it in the bath or shower for extended periods. Do not machine wash it, and do not use a vacuum cleaner. This can damage your mat.
